The Coventry & Warwickshire Group of the MND Association offers support to all those in the area
who are affected by Motor Neurone Disease. This also includes carers, partners, relatives and friends, in fact anyone who has been touched in some way by the disease .
MND is an incurable condition that paralyses the muscles leaving people
unable to do the everyday things the rest of us take for granted. Walking, talking and swallowing may become virtually impossible, yet the mind and senses remain mainly intact.
We liaise with health and social care professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists and the Medical Profession.
Our Branch holds regular support meetings for people living with MND and their carers. These provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease, and to share experiences and ideas.
The Group is completely run by volunteers. We are always interested in hearing from people who can help with events or who want to get involved with running the Group.
The Coventry & Warwickshire Group covers all areas within Coventry and the county of Warwickshire.
For details of other MND Association Branches and Groups in other areas, please contact National Office at enquiries@mndassociation.org or telephone 01604 250505.

You can make a difference, thank you for helping today. Every penny helps so thank you to all who donate and those who have shown an interest by visiting this page.
If you wish to make a donation, however small, please contact a member of the Committee identified on the Contacts page. Or do you have any good ideas for raising funds for the Branch? If so, then please get in touch and we'll be happy to advice and help.
